Prepare 15 Thousand Telkomsel BlackBerry Onyx

Jakarta - Not wanting to miss two rival mobile operator, Telkomsel was also secretly preparing Onyx released the BlackBerry 9700. Launch schedule would be close to Axiata Indosat and XL.

VP Channel Management Telkomsel Gideon Eddie Purnomo, to ensure the launch of the latest BlackBerry output of Research in Motion (RIM) will be held in December this year.

"We've got 15 thousand units of Onyx for initial stock," he said to detikINET in Jakarta, Friday (20/11/2009).

Although Gideon did not want to open a selling price that will be marketed Telkomsel, but he is optimistic the latest bundling product line will boost the growth of new customers the largest cellular operator in this homeland.

Telkomsel currently has more than 80 million cellular subscribers, only has about 180 thousand subscribers BlackBerry in Indonesia. The operator who has a bandwidth of 100 Mbps to RIM's servers, is optimistic the number of its BlackBerry customers could even be 200 thousand at the end of the year.
